I loved Nova Prospekt and Entanglement since those chapters had most of the fire-fights, which I loved most (I didn't find the puzzles to be challanging enough, that's where the enemies on Hard come in ).

Highyway 17.

I felt like some sort of alternate universe Mad Max, racing around in my amazingly fuelless camaro sounding buggy thing, popping out to dump the odd shotty shell into an antlion with evil intent, or shatter the skull of a combine soldier with a well placed Magnum shot.

Such a beautiful level. I hope someone makes an alternative mod based on it.

Route Kanal was good, metrocops coming from everywhere... they drop with a quick burst of gunfire, stuff blowing up.. it was like an action movie.

Route Canal

Route Canal is best because the action is fast paced with choppers and troops on your tail (and side) all the time and forces you to make split-second decision while driving the fan propelled boat/raft with appropriate background music all makes it a thrilling closely knitted experience.

Nova prospekt could be more fun if they put some zombies in one of those dark prison cells. I was quite disappointed on this as I was expecting them in those places.

Nova prospekt could be more fun if they put some zombies in one of those dark prison cells. I was quite disappointed on this as I was expecting them in those places.

There was a poison zombie actually, and it scared the hell out of me. I really didn't see it coming. When I walked around a corner I was stunned for seconds or so.... woosh, that was scary.

Oh it's in the little extra corridor (?) in the room with all that washing machines.

the visuals are stunning plus that particular part of the game gets exciting
i also enjoyed Ravenholm too but the last few chapters really stood out.

Ah yes, me too... I never knew that a zombie existed in that place since Nova Prospekt has almost no zombies... except wen you are about to exit Nova Prospekt. :smoking:

we don't go to ravenholm was just awesome.. man those creepy zombies moaning and screaming in pain as they dragged themselves toward you, that ruled. that part in the cemetery while following that dude, and using the grav gun to cut enemies in half, it doesn't get much better than that!

I am only on Chapter 8, but Ravenholm has definitely been the best chapter so far. You're right, gsmollin, it was pretty scary... I guess that's why "we don't go there."
