What would you do if MAC became the computer standard?

OK. Here is a very creepy prospect. What would you do if MAC beat out every other computer company AND the MAC operating system beat the hell out of windows to the point where MAC became the standard for all companies and home users??

So, you would have to go out to a store and buy a MAC to play all the latest games and everything else.
 
I would personally suicide bomb Macintosh's corporate headquarters.
 
Macs suck, they would never achieve this.

I had this english teacher who was in a wheelchair, but could only use her left hand, AND she had a mac. I helped her with the grades on the computer, so I had to use a left handed, one-button mouse with dirty balls. C'mon, she couldn't have even had the LEFT hand paralyzed, it had to be the right... *grumble grumble*

hahaha, it's one button-ness is so sucky that it has to simulate the functions of having multiple buttons.... and on top of all of that, it looks like a bar of soap.

unforetunately yes ...I'm willing to bet the majority have never used a mac for any great length of time.

This poll has dumb answers. I wouln't be happy if this happened, but I wouldn't complain either.
 
I'd get some guns, rally the PC users and start a campaign to rid our world of the evil mac plague.

People just have NO clue what they want these days. I mean, most people (for very dumb reasons) hate Microsoft. And most people HATE Macs (also, for very dumb reasons)...

Seems to be a problem there.

MACs have right click... Well at least my mates does... =/

If MACs became standard i wouldn't care. All of the games would then be coded for MACs instead of PCs so what difference would it make?

It would be like gaming on a console though but with a lot more bugs and less speed....oh and a lot more expensive. Why would anyone move over to a mac when a similar speed pc would be far less expensive.
 
macs own, the only thing they lack is the community that pc's have, i.e all the stuff like skype.. plus games are made for pc's. if games were made for macs, i'd only use a mac.

oh I dont know, stability, realibility, next to no virii, everything just works all the time every time, software that's integrated with the OS that works better than commercial products, hardware that works every time all the time, no drivers, no bios, next to no bugs (I dont know where you got the idea that macs have bugs ..compared to a pc it's virtually bug free)


some of you need to understand that computers are more than just expensive video game consoles

Lots of things would change in the mac world if they became more standard. You can bet a lot more stability, realibility and virus issues would pop up.

Personally, it would just piss me off that I wasted all this money on a pc and have to go out to buy a mac. But in the end it wouldn't make a difference.

Macs are no more reliable then pcs, a decently looked after pc with Windows XP is just as reliable as a decently looked after Macintosh with Mac OS X. Before today, the last crash my pc had was months and months and months ago. If you don't want viruses, learn to look after your pc better. I have never had a virus effect my computer, i have had viruses but they have always been caught and deleted by my anti virus software.

oh come on you cant be serious ..in 10 years of using macs exclusively I had one problem ..one ...it was a faulty usb port on my keyboard that apple replaced ...never had a virus, spyware or software problem, not once

in the 3-4 years of using pcs I've had hundreds. Not to mention driver incompatibility, software that didnt work as it's supposed to, hardware that didnt want to work no matter what I tried etc etc etc

dont get me wrong I'm a pc convert but I'm not that one sided that I cant see that apple did things far better than microsoft
 
Macs don't allow .exe, Makes it harder for virus writers
