Ok, im thinking about getting into weapon modelling, what would you people recomend for a good easy gun to model.

FJH-642 "Shoot-Easy" Pea Shooter?

Try a normal weapon... Like the Russion NSV heavy machinegun... Or a Swedish Carl Gustaf M2... Or the German Crossbow AT Grenade Launcher. The Russian Plamya/AGS-17 is pretty cool too (30 Autmatic Grenade Launcher).
