What's the point of the newbie central? You don't have to "introduce" yourself - you can get right into the posting. If I didn't know better, I'd say that this whole forum should be deleted from hl2.net. I never introduced myself.

As I see it, the Newbie Central is just a place where regular posters attempt to build their post count up the easy way. And anyway, post count doesn't meen sh*t. You can be a n00b at 3 posts, and a n00b at 4, 836 posts as well.

I don't post to build my post count up, and to become a Strider or whatever. I post because I enjoy being at these forums, and because I am willing to make contributions - mainly in the Singleplayer and Rumours and Speculations forums. Most of the time I spend on these forums is spent reading through and discussing other people's theories about the HL story, or writing my own.
