Whatever happened to Sin Episodes?

I perfectly understand that Sin Episodes - Episode 1 : Emergence was an epic failure, BUT, when you have something called Episode 1, shouldn't there be at least an Episode 2?

Not that I don't already know they'll fail to bring us 8 or 9 episodes they promised, but when you emerge, aren't you supposed to swim around a little or do something else?

Ritual (the developers) got taken over by another company and are now doing casual games.

They said they would like to do another SIN Episodes, however they aren't even working on it and you probably won't see it for years and years if ever.

So essentially, don't hold your breath because it's more than likely not coming.

I've always said I'd never buy Episode 2 (since the 1st one was obviously pretty pathetic), but I would have been glad to make an innocent illegal copy just to find out how the story unfolded.
