Whats one of the best recent movies you've seen?

This is kind of the opposite of the "Worst Movies" thread. As I roam around this forum and looking through threads, all I ever read is people just ranting on movies and I rarely read "I loved that movie" with others backing him up. So are movies very opinion based? or do you just think all these new movies just suck? I am very laid back and it takes a lot to get me to hate a movie. Is there any new movie that the majority of people can agree is good? Discuss.

Well, I recently saw Donnie Darko and fell in love with it, and I'm sure most others would agree.

There will never be a movie that everyone likes. Especially not when you ask people on an internet forum. In these kinds of places there are always people that tend to have a different opinion for the sake of being noticed.

Well I haven't heard of either Donnie Darko or The Big Lebowski so I really can't say.
I think this is a very subjective matter, so not everyone will love one movie.
One of the best movies that I've seen lately is Hostage starring Bruce Willis.

Oldboy. Don't know if anyone here has seen it, but it's one of the best thrillers I've ever seen.

Murderball - If you don't know why or have never heard of it, then you really need to head out immediately and rent the movie. It's a movie that makes you happy to be alive.

Yeah this is the conclusion that I have come up with, I dont think a movie exists that has an overall satisfaction. Maybe some of the top movies on IMDBs top 100 but even then I bet some people still dont like them.
