What's so good about CS:S maps?!

No no, I'm not bitching...I'm curious...

What is it about a CS:S map that makes you enjoy it? The location? The layout? The sniper points? A combination of things?

Personally, for me locations I can relate to (like cs_office) and knowing the sniper points are there (despite the fact that I never use em) that makes me enjoy it a little more.

So what are yours?

I'm partly curious, and this is also partly research cause I'm really considering making an original CS:S map and I'd like to know what makes people enjoy the maps so much.

Pah! Well, you could've still answered my question....what is it about specific maps that you enjoy?
 
Overall gameplay is fair and fun, dust2 has it's areas where you gotta kill all the time, both bomb sites are just laid out well. assault is fun even though it's a bit lop sided towards the terrorists but it's still fun to play ct trying to infiltrate the warehouse, assault upc is good. aztec is pretty decent with it's key areas to watch as well, just a whole bunch of different reasons
 
I love being able to find awesome spots that nobody ever finds, myself and another on my favourite server spend a third of each map scouring it to look for new spots. And yes, i also hate mapos that are one-sided, and maps are great when they combine a fairly even mix of long-distance shooting for snipers, and close-quarters combat for the shotgun and knife people (usually me).
 
Me too but I didnt know whether people wanted to hear it, but now that you've broken the ice I'll come out too, I climb the ct spawn tree in de_tides and have a wank on the balcony, I'm so ashamed
