Whats the best free DVD burning software??

I've got to burn this movie for my friend and my Sonic DVD burning program won't transfer from my XP portion of windows to Vista and it was the best. I've heard that NERO is good but its harder to burn DVDs to play in players now.

Are there any free ones online without just doing a 30 day demo, any suggestions??

wait, how do i burn a DVD copy to play in a player?? all its giving me is the option to do a Data disk. i want to do a DVD type disk that will work in most DVD players

lol, they even have the open source code so people can modify it as they wish. thanks once again. I'll have to delete the AVS crap that i just accidentally downloaded

Make sure you have a good computer for DVD Flick. Though probably not the program's fault DVD flick took foooooooorrrrrrreeeeevvvvvvvveeeeeerrrrrrrrrrr to make a DVD. Then when it tried to write it to a DVD it didn't work. :| That was 4 hours down the drain.

imgburn is good. doesn't make dvd videos. does data cds/dvds, images etc

Make sure you have a good computer for DVD Flick. Though probably not the program's fault DVD flick took foooooooorrrrrrreeeeevvvvvvvveeeeeerrrrrrrrrrr to make a DVD. Then when it tried to write it to a DVD it didn't work. :| That was 4 hours down the drain.

yeah mine took 2? hrs to do a burn then it had an ISO error but i think its because i had the worlds smallest file on the Readable disk only. could have been from me attempting to burn a disk earlier

second and third attempt didn't work right. it burned them but it didn't play in 2 of my dvd players. i think i'll just burn the person a copy of the data disk
