Whats the best version of ati driver for radeon 9800pro in cs:s (source engine)

When cs:S ask for updating new driver for game i put yes and after that i began to lag .ive changed drivers a lot of time .I need to know whats the best version of driver for cs:s.HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP

Steam asked me to update my Nvidia drivers the other day and they ****ed everything up. I went back to the previous drivers and they worked fine.

Have you tried rolling back?

ive reinstalled many times.i dont think ill find it.it rols back only the last one or all drivers u've had?

I manually rolled back to the previous drivers that I was using before the update ones.

The drivers that had no problems...

indeed the new 7.72 or what ever drivers were not tested on hl2 and will most likely crash the game
