What's the deal?

I'm wondering why people don't want to make a Hunting mod of some sort for HL2. I'd say it would be possible to make now since the AI in HL2 is highly moddable and you could make something like a Deer react to sounds and such. I know there's hunting games like Deer Hunter and such out there but, I don't see that many or GOOD hunting games.

Any comments on why there aren't many hunting games out there, or even mods?

I've lost track... How many versions of Deer Hunter are there? I haven't played one since I ditched my 700 mhz.

But yeah, making a Hunting mod for HL2 would generate alot of publicity, since it's unique.

i'm on the list to beta test Deer Hunter 2004.

(i jsut cecked almsot everything you can as an Atari Bet-Tester...it got me into horizons )

I don't know. I guess it's better then having another CS-clone mod out there .. but hunting/fishing games are terrible as a general rule.

why would it be terible it would be cool youd have to sneak up on a deer and not crack any of those twigs that are on teh ground really align ur shot and stuff it might get a bit repetitive tho.

ha ha, the deer hunter games do have a reputation for being pretty bad. why do they bring out so many (havent been any for a while though)

there like "the army men" games, crap but yet, so many

although i have heard there was one faily good dear hunter game. they arnt very popular in australia

^ I second that.... they just plain suck.

I remember waiting nearly 10 mintues for a deer to show up, and then I saw something that looked like a deer, so i pumped a few rounds into it.... it turned out to be a stump. I quit.
