whats the diff from 128 bit to 256 bit?

these new cards intrigue me, and only 200 for the GT! look at those speeds!

Downsides to me are..
8 pipelines, 128 bit, still only 128 mb

but ddr ram..500/1000 speeds, still has SM 3.0 and all that gadgets 6800 has

but the thing i wondered me about is the 128 bit, what will that make me lose in games?

128-bit is much worse, and the cards only have 8 pipelines, the sm3 doesn't matter, the speeds are high but I don't know it looks to me like the 9800 pro would beat it.

I'd perfer a 9800 series card with 256Bit memory bus card over the 6600 series. Hands down.

Yeah and it also looks like the 6600 cards are really meant for dual gpu's at the price of a 6800gt. But it would be much more annoying to maintain what with all the heat and power, and dual pci-e boards would be expensive.
