Mine has to be Rush hour! the funniest shit ever! i love it!

WARRRR HUH YER WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR!!!!

whats urs?

Deep throat! :p

Just kidding. As I can't remember my favorite movie of all time, I'll just say Amélie, because I saw it last week and it was damn good.

Amelie is a lovely movie :)

Naming my fave movie is far too hard. Indiana Jones trilogy is up there, though :)

I'm deciding from:
-Wing-Chun
-Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
-Star Wars: Return of the Jedi
-Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring
-Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
-Lord of the Rings: Return of the King
-Princess Mononoke (I hated the ending)
-Toy Story
-Toy Story 2
-South Park the movie

It's hard for me to decide. Hopefully, I might be able to add Seven Samurai or any one of Akira Kurosawa's movies to the list. I saw Akira Kurosawa's Dreams, but I didn't watch all of it. It was an awesome movie.

LOTR : RTK!!! Definitely the best!!!! And the Matrix trilogy wasn't too bad

Lost in Translation
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Memento
Hero
Donnie Darko
The Shawshank Redemption
The Bourne Identity
The Bourne Supremacy
Lethal Weapon Trilogy
Indiana Jones Trilogy

Wow, someone actually enjoyed the whole trilogy?

My FAVORITE movie of all time would have to be....mmmmm...dune maybe?

I tried to watch that movie on four occasions, everytime it made me fall asleep. 'Akira Kurosawa makes you dream' would be a more apt title ;)

The Big Lebowski deserves a mention. Alongside Withnail & I it's the funniest movie ever \o/

(i've also a very soft spot for Deuce Bigalow :))

I'd have to make a small list of my most favorite movies:

Blade Runner
Donnie Darko
Requiem for a Dream
Pi
Casablanca
Chinatown
The Maltese Falcon
Reservoir Dogs
Pulp Fiction
Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2
Buffalo '66
A Clockwork Orange
All of Kevin Smith's film cept Jersey Girl. Haven't seen that.
Godfather Trilogy
Apocalypse Now
Platoon
Matrix Trilogy
Indiana Jones Trilogy
Amelie
Star Wars Original Trilogy
Garden State

Thats all I can remember for now.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Jim Carrey is incredibly good in all his movie. Definetely my favorite actor.

My favorite movie would be something like The Signs with Mel Gibson. Then, maybe Requiem for a dream (the soundtrack was awesome). I loved Amélie Poulain

Sign is on my list of favourite movies of all time. I think Sign and Alien are the only movies actually have scared me. Theres something abot Sign that love it soo much but i don't know what.

These two have been on my list to watch. I soundtrack is indeed awesome for Requiem for a dream, but my local rental store doesn't have it. My friend told me to watch Amelie, its supposedly brilliant visually.

Donnie Darko
That's the one! Tried to think of it for the longest time.

So now I can say with great conviction that Donnie Darko is my favorite movie of all time. A close [edit: VERY close] second is Amélie, with Full Metal Jacket rounding out the top 3.

Blade Runner
Contact
2001/2010
Memento
Seven
Brazil
The Matrix (first one)
The Big Lebowski
Citizen Kane
Twelve Monkeys

MILLIONS MORE.

On the waterfront
Streetcar named desire
Godfather 1+2
deerhunter
Casablanca
Maltese Falcon
Out of the Past
The third man
Chinatown
Alien
Little Ceasar
El Mariachi
Jackie Brown
Pulp Fiction
The postman always rings twice (orig.)
French Connection

DeusEx is the only one here with a sense of what real cinema is.

EDIT: and stardog

Hm... tough one. In the end I'd probably go for Pulp Fiction, Scarface or Kill Bill.

Wow, someone actually enjoyed the whole trilogy?

He ain't the only one...

Scarface. Followed closely by the original Dawn of the Dead.

The movie that has it all ... It's got to be lock stock & two smoking barrels.

I don't really have a fav movie of all time but its close between these....

American History X
Fight Club
Matrix Reloaded
Saving Private Ryan

hmm....in fact alot of Edward Nortons movies are fab

Tail Sting
Queen's Messenger
Son of the Mask
SuperBabies: Baby Geniuses 2

Best movies ever made, you got to see them now. NOW! Schnell!

Tough one....some of my all time faves:

Pulp Fiction
The thing
Alien
Aliens
Scarface
LA Confidential

Starwars trilogy ( ep 4-6 )
Alien
Lord of the Rings trilogy
Enemy at the Gates

Alien, Aliens
The Two Towers
T2
The matrix
The shawshank redemption
Pulp Fiction
Saving Private Ryan
The Empire Strikes Back

I forgot to put Alien in my list. I think Alien would be a great movie even without the violence/action. If they took the first half of the movie then re-wrote a new non-violent story for the second half of it, it would be another classic. The atmosphere Ridley built up was amazing.

how is the seven samurai, i was planning to buy it and watch but sorta forgot about it....

o btw my fav would have to be the usual suspects (love the ending) and the first half of full metal jacket

Um...

A Bridge Too Far,
Stalingrad,
Saving Private Ryan,
The Longest Day,
The Thing,
Tremors/2 (I hear theres a 4 now... wow.)
AlienS,
The Holy Grail,
LOTR trilogy,
Windtalkers.

oh god...

Fight Club
Schindler's List was too ****ing mood killer, so close #2
Saving Private Ryan for kiking war realism a notch
Patton for....being Patton.

I'm trying to think here...
I didn't like Godfather i.e. :p
Shawshank Redemption was pretty decent, not an instant classic, ffs.

Tarantino's work is pretty darn good. I'd say Reservoir dogs/Jackie Brown/Pulp Fiction all belong at the top :p Kill Bill was ... eh?

Contact was ****ing great. Twelve Monkeys... hell, the title just kills me.

Funniest shit ever would be Dr. Strangelove.

EDIT : Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was so freaking weird that it was great. And it moved, damn it, it moved!!

Aliens, what an amazing film, or one of the Predators, I've seen the 1st one in excess of 15 times and it's only starting to get a tiny bit boring.
The original Matrix, the other two didn't compare at all.
I like Tomcats, I don't know why though, just really like watching it.
Saving Private Ryan and Pulp Fiction are also good, and Pearl Harbour.

In No Particular Order:

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (great adaptation of amazing books)
Braveheart (Absolutely brilliant, powerful, Gibson at his best)
Saving Private Ryan (realistic and moving war movie)
Ben Hur (Astounding)
Spartacus (Amazing Epic film, a MUST see)
Alien (Scary Scary Scary)
Gladiator (I love Rome)
City of God (Great true story of the poverty and crime of Brazil)
The Motorcycle Diaries (Che Guavera's early life)
Memento (Brilliant Story)
Mulholland Drive (Brilliantly directed mind f*ck)
Black Hawk Down (good look at modern warfare)
Apacolypse Now (deepest war film ever)
Platoon (Best portrayal of the Vietnam War IMO)
Happy Gilmore ( )
The Matrix (Groundbreaking and intense)

The more I think about it the more I love  too hard to write em all but those are a few!

topgun
