I have no ****in' idea what I'm using... it's a college campus connection... it sucks pretty much... I download at 75 kb/s if I'm lucky... upload is nice and fast, though! :hmph:

The plus side is... I get obscenely low pings in games and my whole dorm is on a LAN... so there's always lots of people using iTunes that have thousands up thousands of songs sharing their music at all times.


Ed. Also, there's a firewall in place that completely renders Kazaa useless... I've gotten Bittorrent to work, though. They turn it off at 2:00 AM, though... so you just gotta leave your computer on overnight if you want to download shit...

I'd change your ISP to something different if you get a faster connection. I was on freeserve 512k DSL or whatever it is....ADSL?! and they are introducing a limit to it so i changed ISP to Cable which sucks also and their customer service is absolutely shit compared to freeserve. They even hung the phone up on me once, i was livid to say the least.
