What is your job?

If you don't have a job, want do you want to be/what are you working towards?

I know the recession has been hitting hard recently, so i'm just interested.

<--- Student, ergo I have no job.

Once a month I marshall for the biggest paintball league in the UK though, cash in hand. Always fun.

I currently live off loans and overdrafts. Got a pretty big savings account so draw from that when times get really bad.

I'm all over the place right now.
Helping friends with their houses and the like, installing plumbing mostly.

Sexy Librarian.

Well, I'm actually a library page...

I'm working in manufacturing, a job I vowed never to do again after I graduated college. However, thanks to the awesome job market, it was pretty much my only choice for an instant job and higher than minimum pay. Looking to go back to school for nursing, because at any given time there are about 20 RN openings at any of my local hospitals.

I spend all day telling people to restart routers/servers/firewalls/PCs. That makes me an IT Consultant! And it's really boring \o/

:(

ya well I work at a medical supplies company. today i'm entering in 150 video titles to a catalogue with titles like

"Restraint-Free Enviroments in the Long Term Care Setting"

I have to watch most of the videos. kill me now

No job now, but hoping to have a summer job working at a camp.

Freelance artist (I earn a lot from it in these days).

Environment Artist at a game company.

Techincal name?

"Support Services Engineer" *WTF does that even MEAN?*

I'm just a Support Tech.

I just landed a lecture transcription position for deaf students. \o/

I would like to one day be a pilot.

Right now I spend my entire day in building with a bunch of morons while a bunch of older morons try to teach me information I already know, don't need or want to know, or just simply give me busy work to do to pass the time. I do not get paid, but I will one day pay for this service to be provided to others.

security specialist or whatever the hell you want to call it. I sit in an office with no windows and im going insane.

Student in 7 months. Or less maybe I don't know.

Was a researcher for television news. Now unemployed due to LOL OMG CREDIT CRUNCH.

Student, dissertations due in 2 months. I'm going to fail hard and become a burden on society.

I am an unpaid CFO and Director of a failed dot.com company, AND

former Controller and Network Administrator of a publicly held company, AND

Dead President NOT appearing on inflation-bloated currencies.

Pushing shopping carts :(

But hey, I could be unemployed I guess...

I'm currently between jobs. As in, I finished one today and am starting a new one tomorrow, bwahahah....

Student!!!!!!!

In the summer I'll (hopefully) be working for an engineering contractor.

Student.

Anyone who adds jobs to that has no lives, not counting breaks.

I'm going to have to have a part time job while I'm at university.

I sell pastries and that at a market. It's nice, because all the other stall-holders are friendly and I get free stuff, plus 12 an hour cashhhh.

Actually at the moment I'm working at two separate markets on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The Saturday one is in the middle of the city, and the Sunday one is out in the suburbs in a big showgrounds/event centre. They're both Farmer's Market type deals. I'm working for a guy called Philippe, who runs two stores, making French pastries, bread and savouries, and also a ridiculous assortment of hand-made chocolates. It's a nice place to work - I get to interact with people all day and sell things that people actually like.

Work at the checkout of a fruit and veg shop.
