Well it seems Muse's bit of fun has come to an end (for the time being)

For the past few weeks they have been touring universitys in the states (the MTVu tour) and over that time, they have been giving people set-lists. This is obviously not new/exciting, but on the set lists, new songs have had anagrams of other things.

This seemed like a bit of fun that would last for a couple of shows, but they got a bit more cryptic. To cut a long story short, the anagrams led to an email address (which the band used as a joke ages ago), and people getting a reply after emailing them. The reply had pictures (in a zipped file), and a message written in code. The code was cracked (admittedly not the hardest, reverse alphabet substitution) and the email detailed as followed:

(KENT STATE UNI, OHIO) DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF TAYLOR HALL NEAR THE MEMORIAL A SMALL GIFT IS LOCKED UP WITH THE CODE: FOUR THREE TWO FIVE (SORRY IT'S A MONGOOSE AND HAS A SLIGHTLY TWISTED AXLE! - THERE IS DETTER TO COME

Someone went to the uni (4 hour drive) and picked up the signed bike!

I think that's pretty cool!

that is so awesome. hopefully theyll continue to do it.

it was also fun when valve was releasing all the codes for us to try and crack.
