When do I play with you people? :(

I'm really feeling lonely since Foxtrot is always in a full ranked game and everyone else is either offline or scattered through servers. I thought we were doing some clan stuff?

I'm losing interest in BF2 more everyday because I'm really tired of being a lone wolf in games, even with squads, it's really hard to get some communicative team members. It's like I'm playing with a bunch of bots. I dunno about you, but I'd rather play in a non-ranked server with a bunch of people that acknowledge your existance than in a ranked one where everyone is lolly gagging with their Su-80s and Abrams I want black hawk ownage, dammit!

I think...if someone could set up a HL2net server, ranked or not, it'd be fun

Sorry... I haven't been playing at all. I got frusterated with my inability to play on ranked or unranked servers, 64 players or 32 players, without insane amounts of lag.

So I told myself i'd either wait until they fix that, or when I feel like playing again.

Well, 32 player usually doesn't have lag for me, but all I play on is EA servers. I'm on most of the day so invite me to play a game. I'd invite you but sometimes I'm too lazy to look at Xfire/doing something else... BUT I'M ALWAYS UP FOR A GAME!

Guys, what kind of systems do you have? I get lag for maybe 10-30 seconds at beginning of game, then small bits when I go into a new area. But other than that, its no lag. Especially if you play 3 rounds, on the second round I get new lag from going to other area's in the map.

we need a HL2.net server ...I dont know why no ones thought of it yet ...but it costs $ but we DO have 15,000 members ..shouldnt be too hard :E

are the hl2.net servers on the same servers as this site? that would explain it cuz they're owned by Valve

well, i've read on gamespy where they ask developers what games they're playing. enjoying a good game isn't a crime or against the rules. You want to know your enemy right? well, they're at least playing to scope out the competition.

yes but playing it on your freetime is one thing ...hosting the competition's game on the company server is something different altogether

Well anyways, you have to contact EA to get official ranked servers, I haven't a clue if hl2.net servers could be EA official rank servers. Thats what is really making server owns mad. EA decides if they want people to do ranked servers.

Well if you pay for the server, you can CONTROL how many players are allowed in the server, anyways.

Computer has nothing to do with internet lag, which is what i'm experiencing.

I only get that very rarely, if you are playing on rankes servers only play on the EA ones, 32 or 16.

I generally find that even the non-EA ranked servers have little lag. 32 players only though, I trust only EA with 64 player servers.
