When do we see those sweet visual effects?

When is Valve bringing us those sweet cinematic visual effects such as depth of field and motion blur and whatnot? I'm not a graphics whore by any means but film effects like these are really cool and I love the cold filter they put over everything.

i dunno, on the last update news, it said the free weekend was a huge sucess, blah blah, and at the bottom im pretty sure it said look for new game implementations in the weeks to come, or something along those lines

DoF an Motion blur won't be out for a long time to come, current hardware cannot process that so well. In the future it should though.
