Answer the question because Vegeta says that it takes place in the 70's. WTF?

GTA3: 2001

I remember it in an interview, it was also said LCS would take place three years before GTA 3, and thats in 1998. And it makes sense.

So Liberty city stories, which takes place 3 years before GTA 3, is in the seventies, when actually, its in 1998? Lawl. Veggie=lose.

GTA3 is set in 2001 or there about...it's set later than san andreas which is set in the 90's...

the psycho hispanic girlfriend you meet in san andreas is the psycho girlfriend that betrays the player in the beginning of GTA3. her new boyfriend that you street race with in san andreas is actually the player character from GTA3
 
Its the late 90's. San Andreas is the early 90's. Vice city is the 80's.

there are many cars like the infernus that sure are based on cars of cars long after the 70,for example the infernus sure is based on a lamborghini diablo and thats a car of the 90's

also there is a place in one of the citys where are a cybercafee whit very modern looking PCs

also the litle cellular where you get text messages sometimes

really who the hell touhgt it was in the 70's?
