Ahhh....the Duke Nukem Forever days...do you remember them? As quoted from a 3d Realms developer when asked when do you expect DNF to release..he replied, "When it's done". Hopefully this is not the attitude that we will get about this game in the next few days from Valve. Hopefully there should be an official press statement soon...(usually there is when this sort of thing happens).

How many of you followed Duke Nukem Forever but were also left in the dust (though this is much worse because 3dRealms never really stuck to a release date this close to announcing that it is not happening.)

He said that, on video, to the fan base.

I remember another game Counter-strike condition zero... that was supposed to come out 2.5 years ago as well. I gave up on that though.

When does Vampires: The Masquerade: Bloodlines (a Source engine game) come out?

A long time after Half-life 2 comes out. It was gonna be beginning of new year, but now that has to be delayed towards the second quarter of the new year.

I am going to think Valve thinks this way until we get a solid release date.

I have began to lose faith in the gaming industry's timing of things. Nothing has ever been released on a date. I wish these people would set realisitc dates that they know they can make and more time added just in-case.

You guys forget about another game called Team Fortress 2... it was supposed to be released in the same box as Half Life. So what now.. 5 years later and the game hasn't been canceled but there is absolutely no news to be found about it. Didn't Gabe say there was going to be an announcement about it sometime soon (this was like 3 months ago)??? Yah.. so don't be suprised if HL2 is delayed until mid next year.

5 ****ing years, I mean honestly nothing for HL2 is that impressive that they would need more than 5 straight ****ing years of constant work on hl2, monday to friday.

Gimpy, Gabe confirmed that Team Fortress 2 is being made on the Source engine, thus the lack of news about it. It couldn't be made until the new engine was done, now could it?
