When will HL2 be on Steam?

I say with retail...i really wouldnt want to see Steam when HL2 comes out on Steam earlier...imagine the dll speeds

I voted "with retail" but I hope that it'll come out earlier. Even with shitty dl speeds I can't imagine it taking longer than a week (un-interrupted) to recieve it all. We can but hope. But for now I'm going to play KOTOR on meh XBOX.
