I know there's already been a thread about this issue, but my case is a little different. I'm running a 768k connection with a wireless company called Frontier. I have NO firewall enabled and I'm running the ethernet cable straight from the wall into my computer. When I search for servers, all it pulls up are 3 empty Counter Strike servers. I left all of the filters at "any", so I know that's not the problem.
My ISP seems to think that their firewall wouldn't block this, but they said they could be wrong. I'll be honest, this is the first time in my life that I've had broadband, so online multiplayer is fairly new to me (I've played on friend's PCs before). Is there something I've missed?
Any advice here would be greatly appreciated.
