Where are the mods?

I have both HL and HL2 downloaded and ready to go. I have HL2M downloaded and CS:S.

I decide to download a mod for HL2 because I'm bored. The mod doesn't show up in My Games or Third-Party Games.

What's up? The same thing happens with HL1 mods, too.

Yup. My HL1 mods seem to work now, but HL2 doesn't.

u sure you put it in the right folder?

Aye, make sure they are in the correct folder within your Steam folder and not something like Crogramfiles/sierra/hl or w.e

Put the mods for HL2 in \Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\
