where are vid settings stored?

help! i was testing out cs's widescreen feature when i discovered my monitor didn't support 19:10 at 1024x768, so now when i start cs my monitor just cuts out so i can't SEE the options buttons so i can change the settings back to normal, does anyone know where the vid settings for cs source are stored, i tried deleting config.cfg but that didn't help, maybe it's in the registry?

i know i'm talking bout cs source here but the setting should be in the same relative place as in unmodded hl2....

please help!

ya go to the registry thats the only way to fix it unless theres some program that u could use
