I'm going to DC for a while in late July.

The house we're in now needs a lot of work done. Some floors need to be either refinished or torn up and replaced, the basement needs to be completely redone (concrete floors and walls, ceiling consists of rafters and heating ducts), there are insulation problems, the wiring and pipes are all very old, and we've had an ant problem every summer for the past decade or so.

In the new house, all we need to do is refinish the wood flooring on the second floor and get a bit of new carpet in, both of which are being taken care of right now. And when we get around to it, we'll finish the attic
