Where can You get the HL2 soundtrack?

It's in one of the HL2 gcf's, but i forget which one. It's a game soundtrack, so all the music has to be somewhere in the game files. Finding it is that hard part

Forget what I said earlier, here is the real solution. Download a client like GCFScape as suggested...and in your SteamApps folder open the Source Sounds gcf.

Go through root\hl2\sound\music\ and voila, you have the whole soundtrack right there apparently legally since Valve themselves wouldn't have linked to that program on of their own websites if it wasn't. Enjoy!

No the GCFScape is the program you need to unlock content if you're a modder. Valve's own FAQ has a link to their website so it's perfectly legit.

Ok sry to ask but now that I've got the tool how or what do I do with the file?

Open it, make sure you have all Steam processes closed then check the folders I told you about (C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps).

You should notice that the programs seem to be changed. Follow my instructions on my second post.
