Where do people play MP?

I don't see a MP forum, so I apologize if this is in the wrong place.

The only MP I see for HL2 is Deathmatch, and I hate Deathmatch--I want some strategy! The other MP games on my computer for HL is counter strike, but I'm afraid that's too old to play now. Where are HL2's objective-based games?

There are no official ones i don't think, you'd be best off searching for some 3rd party MP mods.

If HL1's CS is too old for you now, play Counter Strike Source. Day of Defeat source has objectives in it, whereby you must capture control points and plant/disarm bomb. I don't know what your problem is?

There will also be the release of Sven Co-Op 2, whereby you play HL2 missions with other people online, in a Co-Op style. - yet to be released.

there doesnt have to be a forum just for 1 game but there is a forum for the mods though.

Erm...You can already play HL2 with mates by giving them your ip and turning sv_lan to 0 or something.
