Hello, schools starting soon for me , in less than a month. I had the idea it might be cheaper and I'll end up getting more clothes if I bought most of the apparel like shirts off the internet? Has anyone ever done this like buy all your clothes off the net and avoid going to the store. I really dont worry about shipping because usually the tax you might have paid is equal to shipping? I also goto goodwill, I just dont like spending 500 bucks for clothes I will year for less than a year then send off to a third world country ;/

I shop all over. TopMan is decent, some good bargains to be had on eBay, frontier-i is good for unique trainers.

Ebay.

Most people think it's only for second hand clothes but there are profesional shops that run on ebay, and will get you new stuff for good deals :D

Band merchandise bought from concerts makes up the majority of my clothing. Otherwise, second hand clothes shops and mail order.

I bought a new pair of airwalks, pair of jean shorts, pair of kahki's and 6 shirts for a $140. I shop at places like the Gap, JcPenny, Robinson's May, Pacific Eyes and T's, etc. I only buy the stuff that is on sale. I won't buy a shirt if it costs more than $15.

Unicef handouts. Why spend money on clothes when you can get more ram? ;)

"Go Unicef Pennies! Help the puny children who need you"

Best shit is at the following.

www.urbanoutfitters.com, A&F, Banana Republic, Jcrew, outlet places...polo, etc., just depends on what your style is. I sometimes get random and unique hats and shirts that most people can/will never find.

Oh, and to contribute to the topic. I buy most of my clothes online, from various stores. I just now bought some shirts from 'aero-graphix', a small online buisness who design shirts, t-shirts, sweaters, sport shirts etc with very nice logo's of world war II planes on them.

I'm not much of a name brand fan, so it doesn't matter where I go. I really like wearing cargo pants, and I usually order those online, since I know my size already.

I don't think i've ever bought clothes in my life and im 19, mainly because I had 2 older brothers that pretty much handed down most the stuff I where(t-shirts and jeans). In fact I hate shopping all together, I never just go to stores to shop I go to a store and get whatever I need and then leave :D.

:dozey: I wear all kinds of shit, yes I am a fashion freak as well :p . I shop at Macy's, Robinson's May, Mr. Rags, D.E.M.O., AE, Hollister, A & F. Don't clown on me now... I wear anything from Hip Hop clothing to the prep shit A & F stuff, as long as I look nice ;) . I've noticed my wardrobe is mostly Ecko, and Akademiks stuff though.

But sometimes it gets too expensive.

my fave store :)

i have two pairs of cargo pants that i wear pretty much all the time (from camden market). buy a shitload of tshirts from gigs/online shops/camden and brixton markets.

if anyone happens to venture into camden market, please avoid any bulgarian stalls (no offense to any bulgarians). but there's a couple who run it and they pull you in and make you buy stuff. they've got all this bondage stuff on their walls, it's freaky. some good deals though, if you buy one tshirt it'll cost you £15. buy a second and that one will cost you £12, buy a third and it'll cost you £10, buy a fourth and it'll cost you £8 etc etc...

it's a good system, i've bought most of my tshirts from there..not always my best tshirts are from there though, as my 'Kiddy Fiddler' tshirt will attest to :(

I buy clothes at all kinds of stores. If one doesn't have what I am looking for, I go to another.

What are you...a woman?

I buy almost all my clothes from J Crew. Either there or from thrift stores.

Im huuuuuge (6'5" 16 stone) so regular high-street 'made to fit 80% of people' clothes dont fit, so usually just buy large stuff from TKmaxx, cheap too.

I don't buy clothes, I'm naked 24/7. It's very refreshing and natural.

I just vomited in my mouth a little bit.

Okay guys lets stay on topic. Please. Thanks.
When you buy from ebay is it like a bid for your clothes, you might bid high but not get it ? How does it work I'm not really ebay savy.
Also does anyone have like a list of websites that sell clothes and have good reseller ratings, and are in the US cheap plz.
///thanks

You stole that from the movie Dodgeball!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually me and my friends have been saying that for about 5 years. I actually said it on this forum several times, long beofre the movie ever came out. And I've never seen Dodgeball.

Although, staying on-topic, I saw Anchorman today and it was f*cking hilarious.

lol I see noone buys their clothes @ www.thinkgeek.com
A GREAT site with lots of interesting products! Some of the items are hilarious

I don't buy clothes. My gf buys them for me sometimes though, when she feels I need new clothes. What's wrong with holes in your clothing?

i got a few from shopodd.com

uh, walmart? jc penney? whatever I find in my closet really.

don't care too much about clothes.

i don't usually "buy" clothes, they just lay there for me to wear, that's how it's been like all my life; i'll wake up, go to my closet, and see a room filled with clothes for me to wear.
can't really say it's something to complain about

I buy mine from a guy named Lenny.

I think he is bum sometimes, but I tell him to get me what I need, and I think he just goes to an internet cafe and orders stuff for me somehow... I don't like to think about it.

Interesting thing about clothes actuallly, or at least the shops to get them from....Today for the very first time i went into a place called TK Max, its basically where are the reject clothes go and you can find some really good stuff in there for really cheap prices even though the only problem might be that the inside label is missing. Anyway, I walked into the shop and it was unbelievable how similar it looked to a place called Ross in San Fransisco where i bought some clothes....I mean, everything was set out the same, it looked nearly identical in every way even where the different sections were and the escalator going upstairs.

Bwaha, I've worn all my cargos till they're holey and in tatters >_<

Hmm... I don't really buy clothes all that often. I generally spend all my pay on music and useless shit so :E meh. I need some longs though, it's getting cold and I only have shorts
