if you could live anywhere in the world (not including any of the hassle, so forget about freinds and family) where would it be?

in the poll vote what kind of place you would want to live

in the thread repeat what you put in the poll and also put what country you would like to live in, like frace or UK etc.

this should be interesting ;)

I want to live in Frace, they have very good Frace wine, so I'm told

sorry, it took me 10 minutes to do the poll. i did it once, then forgot to do a title and had to do it again

*sigh* im a retard....

you know.. they have french wine pretty much everywhere

i voted peaceful village.

I dunno really, for the next 15-20 years or so i think a city would be best, but i would ultimately like to end up in a peaceful village somewhere that has a good view of the stars every night

yes but they dont have Frace wine eveywhere...except of course in Frace

I'd like to have a place to stay in most of those areas....perhaps not a completely deserted area but somewhere out of the way.

I didn't vote.

I still haven't seen enough of the world yet to decide where I eventually want to live.

Places I could definately spend some time in though:

(in no particular order)
France
Norway
Japan
Chile

I don't see Stalybridge(My town) on this list...I'm disapointed.

Don't take it personally, mate.

Got a decent pub in Stalybridge?

Yes....at last count there were about 10 pubs in stalybridge....then there are about 15 bars/clubs etc. Its quite "up market" though, which is nice. The best pub is the station bar, which funnily enough is actually on the station. One of the last in the country i believe. Its great in that place, its really retained the feeling that has been present in the town for years. Stalybridge almost seems like it could become a yupie town, but fortunately it hasn't yet.

1. Japan (Tokyo)
2. Sweden (Anywhere)
3. Korea (Anywhere)

I think it would be great to live near a beach, just because of how much I love them, so thats what I voted for, but I almost think I would be happier in a countryside, only because I was raised in some, and I am more accustomed to them. I would probably be happier there, but I need to try the beach thing out again. I havent lived in Hawaii in a long time.

Where in England is it? I've never been to the UK, and I'm slapping myself that I forgot to put it on my list up there.

If I were forced to move somewhere else, I would pick Japan! Either Tokyo, or a little cosy city somewhere else....

i've been there a couple of times.. i wouldn't worry about leaving it off the choices too much ;)

I saw a quaint little town in the movie Dreams by Akira Kurosawa, looked pretty damn dreamy to me :)

a peaceful village somewhere probably in france or in germany.. I'd like to live near Nurburgring(don't kill me for leaving out any ¨¨¨'s :P) some place.

That was quite the dreamy town, no?

Although I'd love a spring picnic in the peach orchard.

Anywhere in Japan would be cool.
Switzerland is also a nice place to live, I love mountains. :E
Last but not least Italy, Tuscany. Wonderful landscape, and good wine too .

A wormhole-travelling space station built with every earthly environment on board. For example, an Island deck, Antarctic deck, Rainforest deck... etc. And then I'd travel and visit different planets around the universe until the special human life-lengthening technology doesn't work anymore. Have to make sure to bring along plenty of hot women.

Enjoy your dead end planet guys, I'm out of here.

I voted peaceful village. New Zealand or Scandinavia would be great, or southern France (Provence)

I picked the 4th, cause that's where i live at :)

Let's talk boring.

New Zealand boring? I have spoken with numerous globetrotters and the majority found new zealand one of the greatest if not the greatest place on earth. So I feel sorry for you, cause there aint nuttin' better than that hell hole your livin in :E

i want to live in middle earth!

Ppphhh....

In the middle of the earth...yea right. The maaagma will kill you not to mention the giant prehistoric dinosaurs that dwell beneath the crust.

A far away and desolate beach where I don't have to see another human being for the rest of my life.

Mountains! I've always loved them. :) I guess peaceful village would be closest to that.

It's a nail-biting close one between Hobbiton and a Bellagio suite in Las Vegas.

A medium sized yacht with a little greenhouse in the back to grow fruit in.

Hehe, I already live in a small, peaceful town in ^^

I voted a peaceful village, but right now I'm in the city - and enjoying it - after coming from a remote town a few years back - and enjoying that as well. I'd like to live in a peaceful village in like switzerland or austria or something like that, with mountains and snow and beautiful springs and pristine winters...oh, and don't forget the cable :( lol

The middle of the earth != Middle Earth
Middle Earth is the world in LotR

..and where's the "right where I live" option? :|
