Where is this movie?

Can someone find me a movie that is like Doom 3 on steroids. Like inhumanly brutal, scarey, gorey, messed up, and makes you cry. There has yet to been a movie that crazyily messed up. I wish there was.

Cannibal Holocaust is pretty disgusting.

Exorcist: The Beginning was also fairly disturbing and downright evil.

There was a movie a few years ago that was about some deranged gang boss in Japan or Hong Kong. I can't remember what the name of it was though. The preview that I saw looked pretty brutal and crazy.

Perhaps you dont know the level of gore I speak of. Like the guy pinned to the ceiling with spikes and his guts revealed and the juices spilling down. Plus freakiness that will make you want to break down and cry.

How are people crucified on an upside-down cross while still writhing in agony not gory? How is giving birth to an infant covered in maggots, blood, and filth not gory? Or how about the part where the little boy gets torn apart by hyenas? Or the part where the dude in the insane asylum slices his own throat with a shard of glass?

It was a pretty brutal movie if you ask me.

Well, Aliens is a pretty ****ing awesome film, and perhaps not quite at the level of gore you're looking for but pretty close. Aliens is what Doom should have been.

Also, you'd probably like the Evil Dead movies.

C'mon guys--Cannibal Holocaust? There's not a lot of unholy gore--yes, there is some and it is seriously effective, but the animal cruelty scared me more! Maybe Driller Killer is more what he's looking for. Even Hostel (that's out right now) might be more up his alley because of the sick juxtaposition of sexy ladies and graphic violence. I hope he's over 17 (or whatever the age limit is) to be exposing oneself to such horror!

I forgot about Ichi--good call--super-violent.

The "French rape movie" is this one. It just has a very disturbing 9-minute one-take rape scene--not much in terms of intestines spilling from sliced bowels and tongues being pulled from sliced throats or anything. It does contain this interesting bit though:

"The first 30 minutes of the film has a background noise with a frequency of 28Hz (low frequency, almost inaudible), similar to the noise produced by an earthquake. In humans, it causes nausea, sickness and vertigo. It was the main cause of people walking out of the theaters during the first part of the film in places like Cannes and San Sebastian."

Haute Tension (High Tension/Switchblade Romance) also has some very graphic violence if that's your thing (which apparently it is).

rent event horizon... very very ****ed up, but its one of my favorite sci-fi horror movies. it freaking rocks. i watched it when iwas 13... it distrubed me for a month ahahah
