I love how it looks visually. But, I don't see how they will stretch it out into a full movie without it being a little annoying.

Looks very "Never Ending Story"/"Labrynth"ish, I like the old 80's adventure movie look it has.
I have high hopes.
 
I heard a rumor that Wake Up by Arcade Fire will be used in the trailer, if that is true, I will shit my pants repeatedly.

Few things are better than Morgan Freeman. Where The Wild Things Are is one of them.

I don't think I've read the book in like... 13+ years.

Looks weird as hell when they run around though, dudes in huge and cumbersome costumes... should've made the movie entirely CGI, tbh.

wow....the thought of him leaving the wild things put a tear in my eye. of course the epic Arcade Fire music wasn't helping that....

I can't get over how awesome this is. For some reason the way the kid runs strikes me as very... heartfelt and pure, in a way. August can't come soon enough.
 
Awesome, even more awesome for music being done by Karen O at some point in the film, according to the credits. That's cool as hell.
 
am i too old to read the book?? i remember friends having it and i didn't :(
 
yes, if you read the book you will not understand the language because it will be written in child words.

Holy shit, this looks heartwarming as f*ck. Best trailer music I've heard in ages, fit the mood put across by the imagery perfectly.

A lot more confident about them translating this into a film after seeing that.

I can't wait for Wild Things - that trailer made me cry. It was and still is one of my most favorite books ever!!
 
Everyone Poops is the most profound book I have ever read.
