Where to buy?

Hi,

I'm going to be getting a new motherboard (MSI K8N Neo Platinum) and processor (Athlon 64 3200+ with 1MB L2 cache). I was going to get both from Newegg, but I looked and they don't have the 1MB L2 cache 3200+. Does anyone have sugguestions of other good stores that have that processor or should I just get the 512k one from Newegg? I need to get them by thursday because I'm selling the old ones to a friend and he needs to have them by then.

that processor is old. It uses teh clawhammer core while AMD made a new revision and is using the newcastle core which drops the 1 mb l2 cache to 512 kb l2 cache.

You don't want the old version with 1MB L2 cache.
1MB L2 cache only gives it about 100+ rating improvement in actual performance.
Having a full 200MHz higher clock speed is much better.

2.0GHz 1MB L2 cache
vs
2.2GHz 512KB L2 cache
