Ever wanted to know where the fiver in your pocket originally came from? Well now you can, with www.doshtracker.co.uk !
I just found this site, and I think it's a great idea! Basically, you enter the serial number of any paper money you have (brits only) and the site checks to see if it has been entered before. If it has, you can find out where its been. If not, you have started a track.
You can speed things up a little by writing the URL on the note, but thats technically illegal in the UK (paper money is considered government property).
So lets see if some brits from this site can get some good tracks going. Who knows, some of you may uncover the dark history of that well-worn tenner. Be sure to write a few lines about where you got it, and the condition.
Americans, all is not lost. The site www.wheresgeorge.com provides exactly the same service for you. It insprired doshtracker, actually.
So, happy tracking!
