Which BT Client is the best?

As the topic title says, which BitTorrent Client are you using and how good is it?
*Varg is considering trying something else than Shadows Experimental BT

Currently employing azureus, i've used mainline, but didn't like it. ABC i'll have to take a look at though. Constantly running the java machine is takin a toll on me system resources.

..which apparently is now called BitTornado! Interesting

:naughty: I use Shareaza's Torrent way, it's just sooo damn good. I can get up to 1 MB downloads on it occasionally, I could download a whole 1 Gig game over night.

BitComet. It has everything I need, doesn't use as many resources as azureus, and I get good speeds.

What's the best client that doesn't base your download speed on your upload? I know the idea of bittorrent is to share, but it kind of sucks when you ISP only gives you 1/4th the upload capacity...

I get decent downloadspeeds with BT maybe once in a month. It's almost useless for warez.

Then you're doing something wrong. I get very god download speeds.

Ok.... Not endorseing stuff like that, but when you use the non ratioed download places for bittorrent... it is going to suck. You would need to go to a site that keeps a ratio of your UP and DOWN.

When a torrent is hosted by a 10meg line over in sweeden and then 20 of his buddies get the file and they are all useing a 10 meg like and then the only people who can connect to the torrent for 48 hours are people with good ratios..... I havent had a download under 100kb a sec on my 3meg line.

So quit useing RIAA mpaa monitord junk like SuprNo... ya you know the site. Dont belive me that that is monitored? Run a Peerguardian whyll connecting to that trash....

I use bittornado. Just tried azureus...doesn't work as well for me...uninstalled it and realized something. It's still running...and it's not even on my add/remove list anymore....the uninstal didn't even come up with some kind of error.

I don't use Bt, extremely slow for me always get like 1kb/s down and 50kb/s up, while with dc++ 120kb/s down, 50kb/s up
