Which game console to buy?

I am buying HL2 this week. My first pc game. What is a good console to buy to play with?

If you like online play, Xbox. I just got one and Halo 2 is pretty damn fun.

I have a Gamecube and I love it... many exclusive games that kick ass. Paper mario, metroid prime, double dash, resident evil 4, windwaker, mario party 6.

So far, I've found that Halo 2 is the only really good game for Xbox that you can do Live with. I hope there's more than that!

There are lots of great games for xbox

MK: deception, fable, KOTOR, KOTOR 2, Prince of Persia games, come on look around a bit.

I had some real problems jamming the keyboard into the controller slot, though. And did you try that secret code, "G-Man are Dad"? Boy, did that give me a zap. Who knew the SNES used such high amounts of watts? Was at intensive care for a month! But it totally was worth it, I never imagined HL2 would look so sweet when it's rendered with the power of sixteen bits.

All 3 systems have good games, though. You can't go wrong with either.

Gamecube all the way!!!! Metroid Prime 1&2/Paper Mario/Viewtiful Joe 1&2/and Pikmin 1&2. and better graphix than the ps2. Plus, if you get the gba loader thingy, you can play game boy games on your 102" plasma display, but not that they would look very good...

They're all good

'Must have' games on each platform.

Look at the games available for each and base your decision on that.
