which graphics cards work for HL2?

If there is currently a list on graphics cards that are supported for HL2, please post a link and close this. I have looked all over this site and haven't found one. Which ATI, Geforce, and other cards work with HL2? (hmmm.. will my voodoo 3 work?) (don't flame me, i was kidding about voodoo 3)

DirectX 7 Capable card

Half-life 2 doesnt necessararily have a list of supported chipsets like Doom 3 but if you would like to play Half-Life 2 decently something mid range like the 9600 XT will work fine. But Doom 3's list can pretty much be used for Half Life 2 also so here it is
