My oppinion, C&C collapsed after first Red Alert. I choose Red Alert.

Not that I play it anymore, but obviously it's the biggest success they ever made.

What about C&C:Renegade?

Anyway, I voted for C&C:RA, which I enjoyed immensely.

Either has to be Tiberian Sun or the first Red Alert. Both classics and both great in LAN play. If I to choose, I would choose Red Alert, since its a orginal and a classic.

What about the orig. C&C - heck sometimes i still play that one, still got the first addon too, and the ones with the dinosaurs...whoa old stuff :D

No choice whatsoever. Red Alert was mind-blowingly cool and fun, plus the expansion packs didn't suck.

yep, red alert here as well. quality stuff, provided a lifetime's worth of gaming memories.

I feel contradiction in this sentence.....

The only truely good CnCs are the first ones, Dawn and Redalert in people's general oppinion. But Redalert is too good for Tiberian Dawn.

RA2 wasn't bad, but it just wasn't nealy is good as the first one.

i own generals, so i voted for that. i havent played any of the others, plus generals OWNS. i actially play online loads.

Red Alert (on the Playstation, I didn't like it on the PC) easily... Don't know how many hours I have spent on that game.

Remember when I built structures over a whole island in the Skirmish mode, my enemy realized he was doomed so he sold all his buildings and attacked my structures. And of course I forgot to build defence turrets guarding my structures, so he destroyed a couple of buildings before my army arrived.

The Tesla Coils rocked, especially when you attacked an enemy base and you heard them charging up to destroy your tanks and roast your infantry...

Ahh those memories, wish you could experience it again. :)

Red Alert. no contest. still the only rts i played significantly.

Hands down C&C: T Dawn...come on ppl this game practically started it all :D

RA for sure, played lots of lans and kicked some ass!

Care to explain, because I'm totally failing to see any.

Tiberian Dawn has the nostalgia factor over Red Alert, but Red Alert was just the best game. Everything about it was perfect....everything I'm not going to bother going into detail about anything that was good because It was the perfect game.

Generals is good but its not really Command and Command and Conquer

The series went completely off track when EA got westwood after Red Alert. I heard about a command and conquer 3 (Tiberian Dawn, Tiberian Sun, C&C3) that was planned and it sounds very good, but unfortunately it never came to fruitition...and never will.

Tiberian Sun? Did you have the first two? I mean, Ra2 and Tiberian Sun were really fun but they just can't compare.

It was either Red Alert or Generals and I picked Red Alert. The best rank I got was 37 on the Cases Ladder on Red Alert. Before I started playing on-line my friends and I always played over the LAN. It was tons of fun.

I don't even consider generals a 'real' C&C game - most of the orig. devs have left for other companies and the spark just is'nt there anymore.

I played through generals tho, and granted its very good - but not worthy of sticking the C&C name on.

Red Alert 1 was amazing.

Red Alert 2 i'm still occasionally playing.

Tiberian Sun sucked donkey *alls

I actually prefer the sprite based games, over the 3d suckage of generals - please if there was to be another C&C with NOD and GDI - for gods sake, let it be with real old school sprite graphics.

Anyone feel the same, C&C in 3d just does'nt feel right.

Red Alert rocked!

to bad it doesn't run on win 2k. . .
