Which ram will overclock my a64 3000+ the best?

I've been looking around and doing some research but I'm still not sure which ram would make my a64 highly overclockable ie high fsb, or whatever htt what have you.

So far my setup is as follows:
Asus a8v deluxe (rev 2.0)
A64 3000+ socket 939
Tsunami Dream tower case
OCZ psu 520w
Thermalrite xp-120 heatsink with silentx fan

Ram? I've been hearing good things about ocz but not sure which one to get. or any other suggestions.

I believe the CL(CAS Latency) is the number 1 factor, so get it as low as possible(2.0 or 2.5).

I have CL 3 and I got a 200Mhz OC on air(albeit a 120mm fan, but I digress).

With the latest memory chips from Samsung, Micron, and Hynix, the real excitement in DDR memory performance has shifted to the Athlon 64 platform. In our first full-scale roundup of memory on the Dual-Channel Socket 939, we found several DDR400 memories that reached a stable overclock of DDR600 and several more that came very close to this memory speed. It is clear that DDR memory manufacturers are paying close attention to the Athlon 64 platform, since we are seeing familiar memory reaching further on Athlon 64 than what we saw on our Intel 478 platform.

We learned that the Athlon 64 quest for a 1T Command Rate is worth the search, but you also will need the tools to allow the best overclock with memory on the Athlon 64. As surprising as it will seem to some, that should include the highest quality power supply that you can find at 500 watts or more. We found that replacing a well-respected 465 watt PS with a 520 watt PowerStream allowed even higher memory overclocks. This was true with both the power-hungry nVidia 6800 Ultra as well as the more mainstream ATI 9800 PRO. If top memory overclocks on the Athlon 64 is your goal, don't skimp on the power supply. Putting the best PS that you can find in your system will pay off in higher memory overclocks with greater stability.

That ocz rev 2 memory looks nice. Wish I had some. Maybee I will get some when I RMA my memory. I finally got it running at a 1T rate and then I run memtest and got 22 errors. Not a huge deal, but hopefully they will give me that rev 2 stuff because my memory is discountinued. OCZ has always been good to me and my friends. So I would say go with the rev 2 memory.


(it was actually my fault the memory wasnt running at IT not ocz's)

And I was wondering what do some people get for bandwitdth for memory on their a64's. I saw anandtechs but I would just like to know what a stock system for a64's should get. Because Im getting 6037/5956 and it looks pretty close.

Mine is S754 so I get about half of that for bandwidth.
