which screen would be better for PC games?

my question is which screen is better for gaming for my PC games? i believe my monitor is better for my PC games, but im not sure. im going to sell my computer monitor if my games dont look better on my monitor than my tv. for example, which one would look better with Half Life Episode 1 and all its great HDR lighting?

well the hdtv would be alot nicer, but that depends if your computer can give out the fps to use that large of a resolution.

well how can i find out if it can? i have a 7900gt graphics card and 2 gigs of kingston RAM if that helps?

Have you tried TV-outting to your monitor and finding out?
IMO keep your monitor even if games look better on the TV it will suck for other things like web browsing.

very true, the games will look amazing but dont use tv out use hdtv out if you have the cables. also on the web browsing thing i would have to agree, because everything will be tiny and hard to read. again it will be great for games.
