Which will offer me a bigger bang?

A 8800 GT running on a e6300 (at stock speed, 1.8 ghz)

Or

A quadcore Q6600?

*I'm planning on getting both, but one may have to wait longer than the other.

I've got a e6300 and a 7950 gx2 right now.

Eventually I will get both pieces of hardware, the quadcore and the GT.

But which will increase my performance for Crysis more?

the video card will obviously and that dual core cpu should be plenty for now. though if it wasnt just to upgrade for crysis then i would go with the q6600 and wait for the next gen video cards. the 7950 is still a top performer.

Well apparently Crisis doesn't support Quad Core only Duel Core at the moment so I'd get the graphics card first.
