There's an article about the battle between Sony and Toshiba to come up with a compromise for their two different versions of High-definition storage devices. They have to a point were they are discussing considering creating a hybrid. But if the plans to come with a hybrid doesn't go ahead, which storage device would you like to see?

Blu-ray, definitely.

I voted for the same thing, only because the possiblity of playing games directly from the disc will be the norm for PC gamers in a couple of years, and that means less HD space required and more DVD-rom space needed.

Blu-Ray becuase it can hold more storage. More storage means better quality in movies!

I voted for Blu-Ray because 50 gb is a lot more than 30 and Sony is always good with what they do so Blu-Ray for me.

Blu-Ray is nice, but I'm not sure if it could beat HD-DVD's production costs. I'd rather have something that could be quickly accepted in the next few years than something that would have to slowly trickle in because production needs to be totally retooled.

Since most people voted blu-ray...and I like to be different my vote is HD-DVD. :D
