White noise

Is it normal, that when you die by bomb or something what blows up, you hear "white noise" like beeeeeeppppppppp.... Not low sound, high pitched squeeky noise... :cheese: SOmeones have said that HL have lots of sound glitches. Is this one?

That's not a glitch, tht's your ears ringing.

It's meant to do that, the sound also changes depending on if your moving towards or away from it too, lots of neat little touches like that.

HL2 does not have lots of sound glitches ... just one that affects a small percentage of players. Often due to a lack of RAM.

Indeed, this is not one It's rather cool ....
