nice opening title track, all in all a quite hit or miss album

not bad but nothing that makes me want to stand up and applaud

i'd probably say the single is probably the best track on it

overall, a bit of a dissapointment. still though, its a lot better than most because its different and it still has their raw sound

I don't think Meg was ever going to drum for Nine Inch Nails. I think that picture was just put up for kicks, since it went off the site a few days later. Though I don't question Meg's drumming skill outside of the White Stripes, I can't see her drumming NIN songs.

Oh yeah, and The Raconteurs is a side project and Jack had even said that the White Stripes would do another album. That said, I'm pretty sure Icky Thump is the last album the White Stripes will be putting out for a long time (if not the last ever). Their old label dropped them and they resigned to Warner but the contract is only for one album, which is Icky Thump.

I haven't heard the rest of the album, but I f*cking LOVE the main single. It's got such a kick

Plus, the demented "LALALALALALALALLAAAAAAALALLAA" line in the middle of it is brilliant.

i don't get why everyone was so hateful of get behind me satan. sure its different to their other albums, but to be honest, it was still a great sound and at least they actually dared to try doing something different which is what most bands nowadays are lacking. a spine. i agree it wasn't as good as their other albums but it still stood up on its own

Man, the album is sooo awesome. Rag and Bone is an awesome song. The whole album is just so crazy cool.
