Whitehouse wants to veto bill for higher taxes on over profiting oil companies!

Just for the record, after the democrats put pressure on the oil companies gas prices fell about 70 cents a gallon in the last month where I live. So much for the talking point that the president doesn't have any control over gas prices. :rolleyes:
 
What's that? Oil companies are making money now? Lots of it, eh?

Huh??????...speak up....poverty in third world country?????? I thought there were more than 3 countries on earth. Who would want a poverty anyways?
 
Windfall taxes go against the very idea of capatalism. I'd veto it as well.
 
Not only that but if we charge em more on taxes they will charge us more for gas to make up for it and then some and use the excuse "whine higher taxes whine" to make us understand the price gouging bullshit.

As I posted above, after the democrats threatened taxes gas prices fell about 70 cents a gallon in the last 2 months. Trust me, the fall in prices wasn't due to your president's nonactions.
