...Someone, appearently, otherwise they wouldn't be doing it.

I've gotten this thing in my mail at least ten times over the last couple of months. I've tried to block the address, but they reach me with a different one every time (always the same message, though). It all started after a friend gave me the MSN account of a bot trying to scam people. Little did I know that it would continue in the mail. Anyway, here's the message I get:

yup millions of people fall for it everyday.

the sad truth is people do actually fall for these scams. obviously not just anyone, but a small percentage of people do.

A while ago I received 4 e-mails (All from different people of course), 3 from the Bank of Africa and one from the African Development Bank. I was informed that 4 millionaires and there entire families had died in 3 plane crashes and one car crash in the previous week (What a statistaclly unlikly number of plane crashes!). For some reason they were offering this money to a (then) 16 year old Irish child because othrewise it would sit in the account and nothing would happen to it (All family dead, no one to inherit the cash).
