Work in a supermarket, was very busy week before Christmas, but has died down again now

I used to work at a movie theater(might re apply) but christmas and well any holiday is the busiest day. It is pretty sick that people go see movies instead of doing stuff with their family. I can understand if it's a couple or someone just bored but people literally bring in 15 people...and entire extended family. Including old people who can't hear or see the friggin movie.

I also work retail for 10 years now at a Linens N things im 24 years old(first job ever) its very busy at the store we have mailers for 20% off entire purchase that go out every sunday. Most people come in and use there coupons on the Dyson vac we sell save almose $100 dollars.

Was really quiet today at work. Opened 10:00-16:00 and was pretty dead all day.

Didn't get the delivery in till about 12:30, so had nothing really to do from 8:00 until then

Christmas was always the best time back in the days I worked in retail. Both in an appliance store and Tesco's.

Cheeky though, I always worked stock, so I rarely had to deal with the public. But you were always kept busy with the demand. Great fun.
