That and about 500 others.

For Videogames:

Admiral Wolfe from Freespace (1). He sacrificed himself on the GTD Galatae to slow down the Lucifer. Stayed on board the entire time to evacuate everyone and make sure the escape pods got out, then ended up going down with his ship.

Admiral Petrarch from Freespace 2. Gave stirring speeches, and you could tell form the voice he was somewhat old (Voiced by the same guy as the military guy from Independence Day) He kept the GTVA together through all that. And got them through Capella's supernova.

If game characters count... then so do movies...

You forgot about Lt. Cmdr. Snipes. That guy was brave. It was like, "now that you've rescued me from certain death, let's jump into some stolen fighters and fly through a jumpgate that leads to who knows where. Oh, and by the way, it will just be the four of us! without any reinforcements whatsoever!"

Those spy missions were all awesome. By the way, I'm glad I'm not the only one who knows about this game.

Oh hell yes.

GTI Special Ops hero.

I love when you're in the Shivan Mara and that Sathanas jumps in- "DIVE DIVE DIVE, HIT YOUR BURNERS PILOT!"

And now that I think about it. One of the big heroes for the Freespace series---- Alpha 1. Think about all the stuff done, hehe. ;]. For real. In FS1 the bombing of the Lucifer before it got to Earth. In FS2 what is done at Capella before the nova. Alpha 1 is a hero, played by you. :d

TV, Movies, Games

Jack Bauer, a REAL MAN, not one of you metrosexual hippies. (I kid, I kid, I was just mocking a site somewhere else :), but I do consider him a hero.)

Macbeth, who shows me how easy it is to be manipulated.

Real Life
Bruce Lee, a dude.

Any Shaolin Monk.

William Shakespeare.
