Ok.. yeah the ceremonies are boring and such. The dinner reception is pretty lame too. The dance and party afterwards is almost always fun. All this is assuming someone young is getting married (the only fun ones that I've been to).
For guys:
-It's a "special occasion" for ladies, they get dressed up and look top notch
-Open bar (assumed) usually ignores age. They may deny underage guys drinks, but the ladies always get what they want (great way to get in conversation and get to know a lady)
-Dances are usually quite crazy
*BONUS* Groom's sister is crazy hot (started modelling in early high school) and has known you for years but hasn't seen you in a while...and she'll be getting loaded :thumbs:
The above bonus is the situation for a wedding that I'm heading home for next weekend.
I've already got my gameplan worked out and I'm excited
One wedding dance I went to recently was an odd but fun one. The reason it was odd was because my only connection was the following: "My friend's, friend's, sister's, friend" So I obviously knew absolutely nobody there...but it was still fun because the average age of the people dancing was around 20. The funniest and perhaps meanest thing we did was take pictures of ourselves having a good time...with the wedded couple's disposable cameras placed at each table. We just used one...and took pictures of ourselves (nothing obscene). We just left knowing the couple is gonna be asking themselves..."Who the hell are these people? Oh well...looks like they had fun."
Anyone here have good/rediculus wedding stories or just happen to like them?
