who makes the ace 17" tft monitors ?

who makes the ace 17" tft monitors ? , just got one but it seems a little to bright compaired to the crt i was using . do you need drivers for tft monitors or just use the plug and play ones ?

Some come with drivers, some are plug'n'play, which I found out after attempting to connect my dads tft to my comp, getting a feel of what responce time I should be aiming for.

responce time , in the handbook of my monitor it says 2/6ms but on the site details it says 8ms . it does seem a little to bright compaired to my crt monitor and no matter what i do it does not change much

there should be brightness controls on the bezel somewhere that you can use to adjust the brightness of the backlight...

where abouts as i do not see anything to change that , the only things i can change are via the osd menu . but that makes little difference ;(
