Great day for Canadian hockey fans! :bounce: Along with Canada's gold medal performance (good game Sweden), the Calgary Flames won in OT to take a 1-0 series lead over the San Jose Sharks. It's been far too long since a Canadian team won the Stanley Cup. Next big world hockey tourney isn't too far off. The World Cup of Hockey is in August. Good times! :thumbs:

What a great weekend. I got lots of golf in, Tampa Bay beat the Flyers, Calgary beat the Sharks and Canada won the World Championship, beating out a team that Alfredson is on.

they play such a high-tempo game.. the best hockey i have seen in a few years.. btw that Vancouver/Calgary round 1 series was the best hockey in the past few years.. awesome series

btw.. a good place for hockey fans to talk hockey is TMLfans site

now it is a Toronto Maple Leafs fansite, but i have visited many hockey sites and i find this one to be the best, most well rounded site in terms of hockey fans and their knowledge.

i hope the mods/staff don't think im advertising here.. just trying to give pple here a good source for hockey talk.. anyway if the mods/staff still remove the url, pm me if ur interested.
