Microsoft is useing a variant of FUDO for the xbox 2. Supposeably if you have a UBER pc you can play xbox2 games on yer pc and connect to xbox 2 peeps.

Possibility that these new cards will support WFG or what ever microsoft is now calling direct x... IT could be HIGHLY possible seeing as microsoft hates geforce becuase of their whole geforce in the xbox thing, and now microsoft is preping the world for its big runtime evolution for longhorn.

*Point being*

Ati has hidden the capabilities of their cards before, not listing that you card is BLAH compatable when BLAH isnt even out yet doesnt help you sell the product. BUT! If microsoft goes... Oh ... Ya... here is those awsome runtimes that will work on xp and nvidia is just standing their wondering how they missed the boat.

I can promise you that nvidia isn't missing the boat. Microsoft would never be so stupid to only support one brand of card.

you're talking from the heart of an ati-fanboy.

also: being able to play xbox games on your pc would defeat the basic purposes of consoles, and microsoft isn't going to do that.

I would love to be able to play Xbox games on my PC, games like Halo2 and Star Wars Episode 3 won't be made for PC so I gotta use my Xbox, I'd much rather use a PC.

no no no
ATI is making the graphics chip that will be in the Xbox2. This isn't about the PC.

Of course both ATI and Nvidia will have a new card in the future for the PC.
